Hi, I’m Kemei, a digital designer based in Singapore. Over the past 4 years, I've honed my skills in enhancing the user experience of digital products, big and small.

My range of skillsets span across the entire design process, from user research to UI delivery. However, I'm particularly obsessed with the in-between state after research is completed. I love the challenge of synthesising insights, formulating strategies, and expressing abstract ideas visually using words, flows and wireframes. To me, a good designer drives people towards clarity.

My ideal work environment would be in an inter-disciplinary team where members respect each other's craft, communicate openly, and strive to help each other deliver a great product.

I believe that the most valuable asset a designer can have is humility. There’s just so much out there to learn – in the world, in people, and definitely in our users.

My past experience plays a huge role in shaping me to be the unique designer I am today.

My education in psychology

formed my understanding of how people behave and react to stimuli, and taught me the value of proper empirical research.

My work as an underwriter

shaped me to be precise in articulating ideas, and ensuring every decision I make is supported with a “why”.

My time as a student and instructor at GA

convinced me on the impact of designing with the appropriate design thinking frameworks and UX methodology.

Designing at Firemark Labs

allowed me to push boundaries and helped me see how artificial intelligence and augmented reality can solve problems.

Designing at Aleph Labs

taught me that visual delight in digital interfaces is a crucial element of user experience and can create magic in the world.

It has been an absolutely amazing journey thus far. I feel privileged to be working in UX which I so thoroughly love, and will continue to evolve myself as the field does.
